Wonderful boutique hotel, perfect location near Piazza Navona and a short walk to the Pantheon and other major sights. Lovely welcoming staff, rooftop bar has a great view and was ideal for some relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We also loved the history of the building and the connecting rooms were great for our family.

This is the best hotel we've stayed in Rome. The hotel is comfortable and modern (complete with lift and air conditioning). The breakfast was delicious and little things like the staff remembering what coffee you like, made it feel very personal. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite with a four-poster bed, couch, sizable wardrobe area to store your suitcase and huge walk-in shower. Upon arrival - the excellent Carlos greeted us and arranged a delicious tea and coffee in the library while he checked us in. We also visited the rooftop bar while we were there (the views were sublime.) We love the location near Piazza Navona - one of the nicest areas in Rome. Lots of restaurants, bars and you can walk everywhere. One tip - we booked a car to the airport via reception. The cabs in Rome can be pretty run down and the prices seem to vary widely!! The car was much more comfortable and reliable. We will stay at Martis Palace next time we're in Rome. Thanks for a great stay!

A fabulous hotel in a great location. I've stayed in multiple hotels around the world and this one was by far at the top of the list. It's not a huge hotel, but that means the staff are always helpful and attentive. The restaurant is fabulous, with great food. Comfortable beds, clean and tidy, it has everything you need for a weekend in Rome. Perfect.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful on several occasions. We had a classic room. This is their smallest room but it was fine for two adults. The shower was outside the bathroom in the hallway. It was a small shower but it was a very clever design feature that worked with the space. On our second to last day, we were informed housekeeping broke our glass shower door while cleaning. They offered to move us to a different room, versus us having a make shift shower curtain as a door, and we said yes. We were put into a deluxe room and the larger size was very nice. The hotel is not inexpensive but I have no regrets due to the value received. The breakfast buffet was very nice. I looked forward to it every morning. The bed was very comfortable, the decor fabulous and, again, the high caliber of every staff member we dealt with made for a very enjoyable stay. The only negative is that the rooms seem to be showing some minor wear and tear inconsistent with the high hotel rating. (One room had a dent in an interior door and both rooms could have benefited from re-caulking around bathroom sinks.)

Beautiful and Quiet Hotel near some of Rome's Famous Sites

This beautiful hotel was perfectly located within walking distance of many of the famous sites (Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps). Though it is located in a very busy area, we found our room to be very quiet. Our room was modern and furnished with lots of amenities (including wash clothes). We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and cappuccinos every morning. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful with arranging our transportation needs and restaurant suggestions. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a 5 star experience when vacationing in Rome.
